This indepth, step by step program will help you master WordPress skills with confidence!
(Early bird price starting at £59/$75 for a limited time only)
The key to mastering WordPress is to understand how it works. Once you've got the foundation sorted, it's actually pretty intuitive.
The Master WordPress With Confidence course is laid out in a step-by-step flow and takes you right from the beginning where the website is just an idea, through the design phase and all the way to launch.
Not only that, you get a free WordPress website to play with as you work through the course. It's the perfect blend of theory AND practice.
* Well, it's still a beast, but it can be tamed!
Master WordPress With Confidence is a self-paced training course that covers how to create a new WordPress website and how to maintain an existing website.
These two areas cover the bulk of WordPress work that will come across your desk/lap/kitchen table - wherever you like to work!
Don't panic if some of the terms may mean nothing to you yet. I had to include them for those that are checking the curriculum for completeness.
An introduction to WordPress to give you the foundational knowledge needed for the rest of the course
Step-by-step guide including design, pages, blogs, plugins, SEO, analytics...all the way through to publishing
Deep dive into Elementor and WordPress Block Editor for building pages (Full Site Editing pending until out of beta)
What you need, how to choose the best ones, customising and getting the best out of them
Connecting WordPress to other systems such as email marketing, appointment calendars & forms
How to extend WordPress capabilities to include taking payment, a shop front, membership and courses
Best practices for keeping WordPress up to date and troubleshooting common issues
I'll be around to answer your questions (I=Vicky, read about me in the next section)
Your very own website to practice with for up to a year (this is a soft limit )
You'll get videos for each visual lesson (most lessons actually) AND a text alternative for my fellow readers. The text alternative is based on the transcript but heavily formatted so it can be read without watching all of the videos!
The course is broken down into sensible chunks to avoid hours of videos in one go but I'm also working on video timestamps so you can jump to the section you need at any time.
There will also be tasks to complete for most lessons so you can get really hands-on. It's not just me talking at you for the whole course.
I've worked in I.T. for over a decade and I've always had an interest in all things tech. When I had the mum blog itch, WordPress was the obvious choice. This led to me helping other bloggers set up their WordPress blog and that passion to help people get unstuck has, well, stuck. So this course is as much about teaching you WordPress as it is about support during the process.
I've covered course content, content format, support and the free WordPress website. So what objections could be crossing your mind right now?
>> Perhaps you're worried that you're not tech-savvy enough.
It so happens that I created this program without assuming prior knowledge of websites and WordPress. Yes, you do need some interest in techy things but other than that, just bring the desire to learn and a willingness to challenge yourself.
>> Maybe it's the price.
Affordability is big deal for me. That's why I have kept the price low. Also, I want it to be a sweet, no-brainer deal. Then I don't have to do long sales calls to fill a 1K program.
>> Or you want to verify the scope to make sure it's what you need
The course focuses on teaching the skills you need to use WordPress. Service packaging, pricing and most aspects of client management are in a separate course called Launch Your WordPress Services With Confidence. So if you're already familiar with WordPress and only need help figuring out your services and launching, then this is a better fit. Or you can get both!
Here are few more questions I thought of while writing what has turned out to be a longer sales page than I usually have
It's a difficult one to gauge as everyone's learning speed, availability and starting knowledge are different. There are about 20 hours of videos (at the moment) but not all of it are mandatory. I have marked the "nice-to-know" topics so that if you're short on time, you can fast-track though it.
Say you did 2-hours a week, I'd estimated you'd be done in about 3 months. But don't quote me on that.
Get the skills you need to confidently work with WordPress or simply to build your own website.
